St Clements Hospital is located in Mile End, East London. It was originally built in 1848 as a workhouse. It became an infirmary for the Ciry of London Union in 1874, and a psychiatric unit in 1936. In 1968, it became part of the London Hospital, and closed in 2005. I believe the hospital was a medium security unit. The site has
many internal security fences, and gratings over many of the windows.
