The Old Street Court & Police Station was built in 1903-8 and designed by John Dixon Butler. It is a classic example of Edwardian Baroque style architecture. It is a red brick with Portland stone dressings. Apparently, it is very grand inside and is Grad II* listed. The waiting hall is said to contain original Morris & Co. leaded glass. Original light fittings are also apparently in place. Most of this was missed on the visit documented here due to a run in with security. Expect more.
